Chasing Sunsets
Hey dearest peoples (I pray ask the males to pardon the endearment), 'tis the lady of the blog here. Seeings as my sister seems to have disappeared unto some unknown land for a few days, I've decided to bring you the tidings myself.
* Two More Weeks of Treatment
Next week (Wednesday to be exact) Mum, Hannah, Josh and I are off to Brisbane again. Hannah and Josh are really only traveling with us as they're going with a group up north for a camp and some sightseeing. Mum and I are staying with a friend for the two weeks we'll be there. Bonnie actually has Fribromyalgia (a different form of M.E.), so it'll be nice spending some time with someone who understands a fair bit of what my life is like.
* In General I'm getting better. I still get relapses like last week when there were times I couldn't get out of bed, but today I'm up about and able to get my own lunch and stuff which is real nice. Somedays I've even been able to take a short walk. Considering five minutes of really gentle yoga used to leave me in shakes before this is a big step (no pun intended).
* Allergic to Sunlight
Aye Kaycie, I am allergic to the phone. As Mum jokes, I seem to simply be allergic to the twentieth century. I'm intolerant to electricity as well. So you know anything that runs on electricity or has any kind of radiation (mobile phones, computer screens, sunlight [!], electric blankets) I'm all allergic to. Unless I turned Amish or something I'd never be able to rid my life of all the stuff I'm allergic to, so whilst we're working on getting my immune system stronger I just try to keep my exposure to them to a minimum. I also try to plan just when during my day is the best time to expose myself to certain things, that, like checking my mail I really want to do. Getting on the computer for twenty minutes in the morning is better for me since my body is stronger, and it gives some time for any reaction I have to wear off before I need to go to sleep.
* Making it Visual
Two days ago there was some gorgeous late afternoon sunlight. I was having a fairly good day and Josh was hanging around, so I roped him under and we went off to the cattle yards and got some photos. I recently changed my hair (yes, yet again). Opinions?
Untold dreams and a pocketful o' posies.
